Ribbing vs Ribbed Knit – What's the Difference?
Ribbing fabric is a thicker, firmer knit designed specifically for cuffs, waistbands and neckbands. It offers excellent structure, durability and shape retention, while still feeling lovely and soft against the skin.
Ribbed jersey knit is generally lighter and softer in structure, making it better suited to sewing entire garments rather than cuffs and bands.
For knit garments, quality ribbing is the best choice for cuffs and bands, giving your handmade garments a beautiful, professional finish!
