Our European-made Cotton Double Gauze is a beautifully soft and breathable fabric with a clever fully reversible check design: giving you two different looks in the one fabric.
One side features a larger gingham-style check, approximately 3cm square, while the reverse has a much smaller, finer check in the same coordinating colour. Both sides are equally lovely, making this fabric completely reversible and opening up some great possibilities for using the contrasting check on cuffs, pockets, collars, trims or other garment details.
Made from two fine layers of loosely woven 100% cotton, invisibly stitched together, double gauze (also known as Muslin or Cheesecloth) has its characteristic soft, lightly crinkled texture and wonderfully airy feel.
A great choice for warm weather sewing: think flowy dresses and skirts, relaxed summer tops, lightweight pants and shorts, shirts, scarves, baby garments, wraps and more.
